I have not posted for a little over a year. I have been busy with Life. I may be back. I have to train for the next six weeks. It's nothing major. It's a personal goal of mine.

I think the hair stylist made my hair too blonde.

I Heart Yoga

I practice a variety of yoga. Yesterday was hatha yoga. I feel really great.

Later in the day I lifted weights followed by cardio for 30 minutes. I jog as well but not yesterday.

I have not been updating as much as I would like but things are stabilizing. Work is great.

Each Time. Every Time.

I haven't updated since March simply because I have been focused on work. Livejournal is low on my priority list. Work comes first.

My workouts have become more exciting. I lost six pounds. Old age really hits hard.

Answer for question 4278.

What is your opinion of religion? Is the world a better or worse place because of it?
In short... live and let live.

Practice tolerance... don't just preach about it.

Been busy working

I have been unbelievably busy working ever since my husband lost his job. I am not amused.

Anti pet odor recipe

I read about this in a book and am posting it here for future reference.

2 Tablespoons of Citronella oil
1/2 cup rubbing alcohol
1 gallon water

I have not posted in awhile but it's due to being busy with work.

I had a wonderful massage yesterday. I feel like I am on top of the world.

Attitude of Gratitude

The Hebdo 12 Tragedy threw me for a loop so I did not update. I'm back.

It's been cold here. The highlights of my day were

1. Bought some brown cage free eggs and

2. Lifted at the gym and did some cardio. Suprisingly I lost six pounds since January 1st.

Early this morning I thought about how Livejournal was popping back in the day. Now most people have gone. Disappeared. Poof. I can't say I blame people. The cyber bullying was tiresome. I hope I maintain this LJ of mine. So far I have been good about it.

It's been very cold lately so I've been making lots of soup. I found a big soup pot for $9.99 at Goodwill which helps. It comes with a matching strainer too.

I also recently scored containers for the 21 Day Fix with Autumn Calabrese for $2.99 at Goodwill that were mixed in with toddler bowls. This was about a month ago. I like it for portion control.

Thrift store shopping

I love shopping at thrift stores. Used books are some of my favorites. This one made me laugh. I thought about one of my friends when I saw this one.

Oatmeal with brown sugar... before I poured organic rice milk. Bowl of yum!

There is a story behind this. My mother would call it "Mush".

"Do you want some mush for breakfast?"

It never sounded appetizing. Now that I have adapted it to my liking... I am a huge fan.
